License Generation

A license code is the heart of the Sentinel RMS licensing system. A licensed application looks for a valid license to execute. While the licensing API method is used for developing this intelligence into your application, the license generator component is used for generating the actual license. Sentinel RMS provides the following options for generating a license code:

WlscGen Utility

A Windows GUI-based utility that generates a license code.

lscgen Utility

A command line-based utility, available on Windows and Linux, that generates a license code.

RMS License Code Generation Library API
